9:00 a.m. – Breakfast at Jeri’s Jumbo. Everyone invited.

11:00 p.m. – Set up for blood drive at the Red Lion

1:00 p.m. – First appointments start
(our scheduled appointments are 5 people every 15
Minutes.

2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Featured Guests: The American
Red Cross Mascot “Billy Blood Drop” and Santa himself.
Pins and Patches will be for sale. We have a lot of great
Christmas gift ideas!
Costco will have a trade table and Randy Fulmer will have
his POW*MIA bike on display.

Flag Ceremony

A ceremony honoring WWII Veterans and all other Veterans will be conducted 7 Dec at noon, at the City Park in Roberts.

POC is Ron Hall, 228-3609, and he has requested Veterans organizations to be present with their colors.  Please contact Ron directly with your questions and concerns.

Christmas Packages For The Troops

About 450 troops from SE Idaho recently shipped out with the 116th Brigade Combat Team. Within the next few weeks as they finish thier training there they will proceed onto Iraq, just in time for Christmas.  There is a program that has been put together between Pocatello and Idaho Falls to make sure that each and every one of those soldiers recieve a Christmas Package from the Southeast Idaho communtity.

An Army sergeant who exposed himself to intense enemy fire in an effort to save comrades in Afghanistan will be awarded the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest military decoration, the White House announced Friday.

Wounded Warrior

We can all agree...ALL veterans, regardless of income, deserve the best medical treatment available.

The Wounded Warrior Volunteer Association is a national network of doctors of all specialties that provide their services to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans free of charge.
